Ceres Community connects people with information shared by local contributors. It is not an emergency service, a medical consultation, a recruitment agency or an official municipal notice channel.
Listings and administrator review
Business details, events, school information, sports activities, jobs and community notices are supplied by contributors. The operator, VAN ZYL DEVELOPERS (PTY) LTD, can review content before publication, but approval does not verify professional registration, qualifications, insurance, identity, safety, ownership or the quality of an offering.
Information can change or be incomplete. Confirm opening hours, prices, venue access, appointment availability, event dates and contact details with the contributor before travelling, booking or making an agreement. Marked sample listings are demonstrations and must not be used as real contact or event information.
Healthcare, work and safety
A notice about a visiting doctor, therapist or wellness class provides scheduling and contact information only. It is not diagnosis, treatment or personalised medical advice. Check the provider’s appropriate registration and suitability directly. For an emergency, use the appropriate local emergency services; do not rely on this app for urgent help.
Job and work-seeker listings do not guarantee work, eligibility, fair terms or a verified employer. Check the organisation and agree terms directly. Be cautious of recruitment payments and requests for sensitive documents. The platform does not conduct employment background checks or handle recruitment payments.
Maps and distance estimates
Listing owners supply addresses and map pins. Device location can be inaccurate or unavailable. Displayed distances are approximate straight-line estimates, not route distances, travel times or guarantees of access. Check the address, route and conditions before travelling.
Embedded maps, address searches and directions rely on external providers and may be inaccurate, limited or unavailable. Their links and content do not imply endorsement. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.
Offline access and availability
Offline pages may show older public information. Reconnect for updates and confirm time-sensitive information directly. The app may be interrupted by connection problems, provider limits, maintenance or device storage constraints. Image count is not restricted by the app, but provider file-size limits and storage or transfer quotas still apply. A free hosting or database plan does not provide unlimited capacity or a guarantee of continuous availability.
Rights and responsibility
The service is provided with the practical limitations described here. Contributors remain responsible for the information and material they submit. To the extent permitted by law, the operator does not promise that every listing or external service will be accurate, available, suitable or free of errors. Nothing in this disclaimer removes consumer protections, liability or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Read the terms of use for community and ownership rules, the privacy policy for personal information, and the cookie policy for browser storage and maps.
